Small Thoughts

Judy often sometimes posts one-liners that she receives in e-mails. I thought I'd do the same since I'm getting ready for a house guest, and I don't want to have to think too hard (not that I do that too much anyway.)

I dialed a number and got the following recording:

"I am not available right now, but thank you for caring enough to call.
I am making some changes in my life. Please leave a message after the beep. If I do not return your call, you are one of the changes."
~~~~~
My wife and I had words,
But I didn't get to use mine.
~~~~~

Frustration is trying to find your glasses without your glasses.
~~~~~
Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting.
~~~~~

The irony of life is that, by the time you're old enough to know your way around, you're not going anywhere.
~~~~~
God made man before woman so as to give him time to think of an answer for her first question.
~~~~~

I was always taught to respect my elders, but it keeps getting harder to find one.
~~~~~
Every morning is the dawn of a new error.
The quote of the month is by Jay Leno:
"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding,
severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with
the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, "Are we sure this is a good
time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"
I love the line about it getting harder to find an elder. That's true.
Ella is precious.
Thanks for the link, Bev, and I hope you enjoy your guest.
Ella is in high fashion form in this one... look at those shades on her head. What a cutie she is! Oh the broken hearts in her wake...... all those little boys in the nursery with her better beware!
Bomber baby! what a darling picture!
I laughed out loud over the wife & words. I may have to calligraphy that one out for Terry.
Beverly, your dinner party guests honored me. You can't imagine how much I would like to make THAT one happen.
Ella certainly needs no one-liners! She is just too cute.
I liked the one telling why God made Adam first. Haven't seen that one before!
I just had to come back and tell you that this, I believe, is my absolute favorite picture of Ella.... She has such a presence already!
