Pictured here is Raymond, the Rays' mascot. I thought he was wearing enough blue to qualify for Project Blue. It was Country Night, so he was dressed accordingly. After the ballgame there was a concert by Trace Adkins. The game sold out, and that is a rarity there. I think the concert had something to do with it. As they are winning more games, attendance seems to be increasing, and that's a good thing.
Pitching has improved greatly, and the defensive plays have been fun to watch. They are a young team with many good years ahead. At least that's what we're all hoping.

I know it is the sport of it that counts.. but yay for the Rays.. it is always fun to win. :-)
Can't believe I've never been to a BB game.Sounds like fun.
At first I couldn't figure out what the forst picture was but now I think you got a perfect post for Blue. Looks like a fun time was had by all. Winning and a concert is a great combination.
Yup, he definitely qualifies for project blue. I love baseball... :)
I have been to one pro football game but no baseball or basketball games. OH WELL! Right now it would have to be in a domed air conditioned stadium for me to get out..... 100 degrees and 100% humidity. Sweltering.
Go Rays!!
I've seen Project Blue photos all over the place. It is neat to see what things people choose to photograph.
fun photos!
I'm a Yankees fan but I love it when a young team is having a good season, makes me happy for their fans.
I wish I could get season tickets to see my boys - I'd go every night. Of course, in my comfy chair and HD picture here at home with the Air Conditioning blasting, maybe I'm better off. It was 100* in Atlanta this afternoon.
I love having a baseball buddy, Beverly!
I have just checked out all your project blue photos, what a great selection, my favourite is the very first one with the boats and the seagulls at the harbour. :0)
